MAJOR ITEMS OF WORK: Approximately 11,000 SY of topsoil removal, lime treatment, and 1.5' of compacted select fill Question Deadline 02/12/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. CONTRACT TIME: 45 Calendar Days Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of bidders maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. All bonds shall be executed by such sureties as are named in U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. A bond signed by an agent or attorney-in-fact must be accompanied by a certified copy of that individual's authority to bind the surety. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
