Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Mound City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of March 5, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a new 188-foot clear span Prestressed Concrete NU-Girder Bridge. Guardrail, riprap and erosion control will be installed with minor roadwork and any incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Holt County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 5%.
