Reference number: 20044773 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-02-11 Replacement of Septic System at École Primaire Sainte-Gertrude. The purpose of this project is to carry out all the work required to bring the domestic wastewater treatment system at École primaire Sainte-Gertrude up to standard. The work includes, but is not limited to: - Dismantling the existing wastewater treatment system (inlet pipe, septic tank (including preliminary emptying), sand filter) and a section of fencing; - Relocate or protect the existing propane tank for the duration of the work; - Dismantle or decommission (depending on the solution chosen for the propane tanks) the sand filter section under the propane tank; - Replace the inlet pipe between the building and the new domestic wastewater treatment system; - Excavate, supply, install and backfill all equipment making up the wastewater treatment system (pre-treatment unit, Hydro-Kinetic treatment module, BFR filter, distribution box, activated alumina filters (2), etc.); - Carry out all work required to install the pre-insulated discharge pipe with heating cable and the outfall; - Reprofile the ditch to allow proper effluent flow; - Earthworks and shaping following installation of the treatment system; - Restoration of rue Papineau, the shoulder of rue de l'École and private entrances following installation work; - Supply and install system protection elements (fence, bollards); - Supply and install control panels; - Connect all equipment; - Carry out electrical work; - Put the system into operation. Work to be carried out between July 1 and August 16, 2025, excluding construction vacation weeks.
