Completion Date: Nov. 26, 2025 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The proposed work is officially known as Homewood Public Library; HVAC System Rehabilitation and Modernization Project - 2025. Work includes the following: o Replace the remote air-cooled condensing unit and air handler cooling coil with new. The refrigerant that the existing system uses is being phased out by the Environmental Protection Agency. o Upgrade the controls to an electronic BAS. o Replace the existing vav boxes on the mezzanine with a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system. o Replace the remaining vav boxes that serve the remainder of the building w/ new. o Add ceiling destratification fans. o The Contractor will work in a deliberate and safe manner. The safety of the Public, and the HPL Patrons and Staff and the Contractor's Employees is the TOP PRIORITY. o The Contractor will work in a neat fashion and ensure a clean work environment. Contractor will properly clean and dispose of all work debris and neatly store all tools at the end of each workday. Project Documents include the following: * The Contract Documents Book. * The Project Specifications Book. * The HVAC and Electrical Specifications Book. * The Plan.
