Renovation of an educational facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a post-secondary education facility.
Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge East Campus Village Project. The goal of Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge (WLGL) was to establish a trusted and reliable Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Call to Action #50 Indigenous Law Institute, where Indigenous communities have a welcoming and inclusive space to revitalize and rebuild their own laws. The WLGL visions a purpose-built space designed to continue community-responsive research that upholds Indigenous law and governance, and supports Indigenous law revitalization, development, and use. The vision is to have a dedicated building to house a leading Call To Action (CTA) #50 Indigenous Law Institute for Alberta, the North and the prairie provinces, where Indigenous individuals and communities feel at home, welcome, proud, safe and supported to continue their work of rebuilding, developing and implementing their own Indigenous laws, to achieve their justice and governance goals. Method of delivery will be design-bid-build. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for architectural/engineering design services has been cancelled by the owner. Project details may be updated in the future, pending owner's decision to proceed with this project. Coverage is discontinued at this time.
