Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Goshen, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project will address pedestrian safety concerns by replacing or updating pedestrian and traffic signals, installing crosswalks and curb ramps where needed. This work will take place at selected federal aid eligible locations in various municipalities in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Ulster counties. NYSDOT Region: 08 Hudson Valley The current status of the project is Future Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2025/2026. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2026. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2027. As of October 14, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2025. NYDOT : Region 8 Pedestrian Safety Action Plan : DUT, OR, PUT, ROCK, Ulster *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
