Start Date of This Project is July 1, 2025. Completion Date of This Project is October 31, 2025. Total Estimate is $115,000.00 Bidders must be pre-qualified with odot to perform necessary work. Each bid must be accompanied by cashier's check or certified check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the Preble County Commissioners or by a bid bond acknowledged by the bidder, as principal, and by a surety company qualified to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the owner, as surety. The cashier's check or certified check shall be in the sum of ten (10%) percent of the bid. The bid bond shall be in the sum of 100% of the bid, which includes the total of the base bid and any alternates, as per ORC requirements. Once the bid is awarded, the successful bidder agrees to furnish a performance bond for the total amount of the Pavement Marking project. Retainage of 8% will be withheld for the first 50% of the labor completed for the project. Retainage will be released upon approval and completion of project. Any retainage withheld shall be done so pursuant to agreement. If bid is accepted, Contractor will be required to add Preble County Commission and each political subdivision for which the work will be completed to its insurance policy as an additional insured.
