Resort Municipality of Whistler Email: engineerbids@whistler.ca The scope of work shall include the phases and tasks listed below. 1. Pre-Construction: a. Site confirmation of existing equipment, including dimensions and locations. b. Submission, at the beginning of the project, of a work schedule that covers the estimated timeline from award to completion. c. Submission of shop drawings for review of all equipment to be installed. d. Submission of shop drawings for review of the general configuration of piping and pipe supports. e. Mobilization to site. 2. Construction - General and Mechanical: a. Complete isolation of all sections of piping to be worked on. b. Disconnection and disposal of all replaced piping. c. Disconnection of all valves and other equipment, and it’s return to the RMOW public works yard. d. Provision and installation of all piping, and fittings, and couplings, as required to produce a complete system as described in the drawings and specifications. e. Provision and installation of all mechanical equipment as described in the drawings and specifications. f. Provision and installation of all gaskets, fittings and other peripheral items not explicitly shown or listed in the drawings and specifications but that are required to produce a complete system as described. 3. Construction – Electrical and Programming: a. Supply and install new RTU I/O card in existing RTU panel b. Contractor to coordinate with RTU programmer for shutdown of existing RTU for addition of new cards c. Supply and install all conduits, fittings, junction boxes and wiring to PRV and flowmeter d. Testing and Commissioning of new electrical components including PRV and flowmeter Work by Others: a. Programming of RTU 4. Post Construction: a. Flushing, disinfection and testing of all new piping equipment and assemblies to be completed per AWWA specifications prior to commissioning. b. Commissioning of the new equipment and piping as an integral part of the greater water system. c. Provide a set of accurate red-line drawings to be used to produce record drawings. d. Provide an operation and maintenance manual based on the new equipment installed. e. Provide a commissioning report for the PRV complete with all relevant “As Commissioned” data. f. De-mobilize from site.
