Renovation of a mixed-use development in Trenton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of March 5, 2025 the project was awarded to EACM Corp. but awarded amount is not available.** The project includes, hit is not limited to the folio wing items ofWork: 1. Remove and dispose of air handling units, associated fans and pimps at seven (7) separate locations (indoor mechanical mezzanines). Existing chilled and hot water supply and return piping shall remain and he protected and prepared for connection to new equipment. 2. Furnish and Install new air handling units, circulation pumps, return fans, mounting material/equipment pipe and duct connections at seven (7) separate locations (indoor mechanical mezzanines). 3. Provide new condensate lines to be tied into existing condensate drainpipe or run to the nearest floor drain. 4. Provide all supplemental supports and structure required to suspend new equipment from existing structural framing. This may come in the form ofuni-strut, supplemental steel framing and / or wood roofrafters and wood floorjoists. 5. Work includes all electrical tie-ins and extension of circuiting with new junction boxes as required. Nw equipment shall be tied into existing B MS system. See drawings for balance of notes and specifications. THE MERCER COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION (the "Board") hereby requests Bids for the following "Work": AHU / RTU REPLACEMENTS at the JOSEPH F. CAPPELLO SCHOOL as shown in the Contract Documents bearing the same name. Bids which comply with the Contract Documents will be received for a combined bid for all Work (single prime). Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority ("NJSDA") as stated in the Contract Documents, prior to the date bids are received. The Bid must contain a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid Price, not to exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars, and Consent of surety, each in the form and manner required by the Contract Documents. No oral or other communications during the bidding process shall bind the Board except as shall be contained in a written Addendum which the Board may, in its sole discretion, issue in accordance with Applicable Law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law, if it is in the interest of the Board to do so. When it is in its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent of its discretion under applicable law, the Board may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of Bids and alternates, may waive any informalities, and may reject any or all Bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
