Site work for a mixed-use development in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of various upgrades and repairs at the existing Fuel Facility. A specific list of items to be performed is located in Section 01 10 00 Summary of these bidding documents. This project is located at the Norfolk International Airport, 2200 Norview Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23518. Work to be Completed in: Substantial Completion: 336 Calendar Days Final Completion: 14 Calendar Days After Substantial Completion Liquidated Damages: One Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars and 00 Cents ($1,500.00) per Minute for Airport Interruptions. Five Hundred Dollars and 00 Cents ($500.00) per calendar day after time for Substantial Completion has expired. Five Hundred Dollars and 00 Cents ($500.00) per calendar day after time for Final Completion has expired. Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% Bid Security: 5% Question Deadline 02/12/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All Inquiries Should be Directed To: Ken Bilson, Project Manager E-mail:kmbilson@burnsmcd.com Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should Bid exceed available funds.
