The intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a Demolition of Structure Contract for the demolition of a residential structure located at 1215 S 15th Street. The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The estimate of probable cost associated with this project is $6,714. Scope of work A. The awarded contractor shall notify the city of temple project manager before the start Of the demolition to verify the proper scope of work for each property. B. The city of temple will coordinate the disconnection of electric, water and natural gas Utilities prior to the start of demolition. It will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor To verify that all utilities have been disconnected prior to the start of the demolition. C. All water and wastewater lines shall be removed, capped, and flagged to within 10 feet of The property line by the awarded contractor. All foundation structures are to be removed To a depth of 2 feet below grade. D. The awarded contractor shall provide any water and electricity needed for the demolition Activities. E. Specifications for the demolition activities for the property location, aerial map, and Photographs are provided in attachment 6.1. F. According to texas administrative code §296.191(g)(4)(a), all properties are exempt From asbestos survey and abatement requirements since the structures are not located On the same site (within 660 feet) and under the control of the same owner as another Residential structure that is planned for renovation or demolition within the same calendar Year.
