The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of a section of Peter Rice Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #88. The scope of the project includes installing drainage pipes and roadway construction with #2A coarse aggregate. Permission is not required to visit the site; however, we recommend contacting Mr. Barrick or Mr. Vanhorn for directions and for status of road conditions before going to the site. Attached to the project listing in electronic format are Terms and Conditions of Project, Conditions for Construction Contracts and Technical Specifications (Sections 1 through 11). Two drawings titled "Peter Rice Road Project" are also attached. A bid guarantee or bond is not required. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. All vendors who conduct business with the Pennsylvania Game Commission must have a Vendor No. assigned to them in order to receive payment from the Commonwealth. CONTRACT TERM - The Contract shall commence upon delivery of Purchase Order to Contractor (estimated to be March 24, 2025) and shall terminate on June 27, 2025. Contract time is ofthe essence ofthe Project. All Work must be completed and accepted by this date.
