Asphalt Sealing & Resurfacing Door Replacement Shaler Area School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to make the award in the best interest of the School District in accordance with law. Asphalt Sealing Scope of Work Crack filling: 1. Clean cracks larger than 3/16" with compressed air. 2. Install a state approved hot, rubberized crack filler in cracks. 3. Squeegee crack filler to band cracks. Sealcoat: 1. Trim along edges to remove grass and debris. 2. Power blow and/or broom surface clean. 3. Treat "oil spots" using a petroleum primer. 4. Install 2 coats of Seal Master brand sealer with a minimum of 2% latex additive and 2-4 pounds of sand per gallon. 5. Apply sealer over entire area at a coverage rate of .12 gallons per square yard per coat. 6. Allow appropriate dry time between coats. Line Stripe: 1. Repaint all parking lot lines/court markings using a commercial quality latex marking paint. Attached find Google Earth pictures of each of the school district sites with the areas to be sealed and repainted are outlined in red. Bidder is responsible for visiting the sites and doing their own measurements.
