The project consists of developing a vacant lot into a community park. This includes the removal of existing pavement and the installation of new sidewalk, ADA-compliant ramps, bituminous walking trail & installation of topsoil/seeding. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order Ivyland Borough, or a Bid Bond in favor of Ivyland Borough in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. Ivyland Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. The work to be done under this Contract consists of all labor, equipment and materials and other facilities necessary and proper to complete the following: the rehabilitation of various Township roadways, including milling and overlaying of asphalt pavement and the miscellaneous replacement of concrete curbing, sidewalks, and driveway aprons along the right-of-way The Drawings and Specifications are intended to cover a complete project, and it shall be thoroughly understood that failure to mention specifically any work which would naturally be required to complete the project shall not relieve the CONTRACTOR of his responsibility to perform such work.
