Haul-Off and Removal: o Remove and dispose of 324 cubic yards of existing base material. o Itemize costs for removal and disposal in the quote. As this may be handled through internal processes depending on bid. 2. Subgrade Preparation: o Grade and compact the subgrade to proper specifications. o Identify and remove any soft spots within the subgrade. o Backfill soft spots using select fill material, compacted to meet specifications. 3. Concrete Installation: o Install 13,000 square feet of 5-inch-thick concrete paving reinforced with #3 rebar at 12" on-center each way (OCEW). o Install 6' wide and 40' long sidewalk from back paving to back of property line. o Ensure concrete extends as follows: North Side: Extend paving along the north side of the barn to the end of the barn, connecting seamlessly with the existing concrete. South Side: Extend paving along the south side of the barn to the end, expanding to match the width of the new concrete. 4. Expansion and Sealing: o Install expansion joints as required to allow for controlled movement. o Seal all joints using appropriate joint sealant material. 5. Final Grading: o Perform final grading to ensure proper drainage and a uniform surface.
