Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This contract consists of a Base Bid and an Alternate Bid for providing personnel, equipment and materials to construct the Market District Infrastructure Project; approximately 2600 LF of water line, 1850 LF of sewer line, 1500 LF of duct bank, mast arm and signal installation, including approximately 1700 tons of various grade asphalt, 1300 square yards of 6" concrete sidewalk, 550 square yards of 6" concrete driveway, 1800 linear feet of curb and gutter and other various items associated with the contract plans and specifications All miscellaneous work related to the above. Quantities and major work items are more thoroughly described herein. Questions concerning this bid are due in writing via email by: July 1, 2025 by 12:00 PM to the attention of Libby Rush at libby.rush@highpointnc.gov No proposal shall be considered or accepted by the City Council unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accompanied by a deposit with the City of High Point of a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. In lieu of making the deposit as above provided, such bidder may file a bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds; conditioned that the surety will upon demand forthwith make payment to the City of High Point upon said bond if the bidder fails to execute the contract in accordance with the bid bond. This deposit shall be retained if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract within ten (10) days after award or fails to give satisfactory surety as required herein. A separate performance and payment bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required after bid award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
