The Project consists of milling of various roads, totaling approximately 59,064 square yards. A certified check or bank draft made payable to the order Upper Moreland Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor & Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the Contract. Upper Moreland Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted, or any portion thereof and also reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
