The City of Avon Park, Florida is accepting Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualification (SOQs) from engineering consulting firms interested in providing Continuing Contract engineering design, consultation and supervision services for various projects qualifying under Floridas Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Section 287.055 F.S. Firms will be selected based on qualifications in accordance with the CCNA, with an emphasis on: Industrial wastewater regulation; Standard Specifications for construction of utility facilities; Inspection of utility facility construction; Underground Utilities; Stormwater and Flood Plain Management; Civil Engineering; Roadway Design; Grant Management Assistance; Architecture; and Electrical Engineering. Contracts for more than one continuing contract engineer may be negotiated depending on areas of experience and expertise; however, the City also reserves the right to reject all SOQs. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
