Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tabor, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,078-square-foot educational facility.
Project Description: Replacement of existing 60 mil EPDM wind vented roof installed over a multi-ply built-up roof on ROOF C, with a new fully-adhered 60 mil EPDM roof system including tapered insulation, cover board and associated sheet metal work. New roof shall qualify for a 25-yr. Mfr. Warranty. Contract for approx. 17,078 S.F. total roof replacement project. Project Location: 1114 Hwy. 275, Tabor, IA 51653, United States Unconditional Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. The Bid security shall be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, a certified share draft drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered credit union, or a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum of all packages being bid. The surety providing bonds must have an (A.) A.M. Best rating or better or be listed on the U.S. Department of Treasury listing of approved sureties (Department Circular 570). The cost of the Bonds shall be included in the Contract Sum. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. B. Contract Time: On-site work shall take place between June 1, 2025 and August 1, 2025. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities, as allowed by law.
