Proposed Pope Elementary School Pump station Installation for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and for performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the construction of the Town of Pope Proposed Pope Elementary School Pumpstation Installation, DRA PROJECT #MS-54508 consisting of wastewater system improvements. The project includes improvements to the existing sewer system located in Town of Pope, Mississippi, such work being the installation of a new wastewater pumpstation at the Pope Elementary School in the Town of Pope. The Pope Elementary School is located at 1110 Main Street, Pope, MS. The Contract Time will be one-hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $250 per consecutive calendar day thereafter . Substantial completion shall be met with one hundred (100) consecutive calendar days . A pre-bid conference will not be held. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the drawings or specifications or should be in doubt as to their written meaning, Bidder should at once notify the ENGINEER, who will send a written instruction or interpretation to all known holders of the documents. The ENGINEER will not be responsible for any oral instructions. B. Any addenda to specifications or plans that may be issued before or during the time of bidding shall be included in the proposal and will become a part of the Contract Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on the date and at the time set forth above at the Board Room in the Pope Town Hall, 31 Magnolia Street, Pope, MS38658. The bids will be considered by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Pope at the next regular meeting thereof to be held within thirty (30) days of the date of receipt of bids.
