Renovation of a transportation facility in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Aluminum Framing, Glass/Glazing, and Electrical The SRTA is seeking sealed bids from qualified bidders to provide for the replacement of multiple storefront entrances and doors at four buildings across three sites. In addition, the New Bedford Bus Terminal scope will include replacement of the main entrance including curtain walls, power-assisted doors, and air curtains. The secondary entrance at the Terminal will be listed as an alternate. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. GENERAL SITE CONDITIONS Brayton Ave The Fall River Bus Maintenance Facility is located at 601 Brayton Ave, Fall River, Massachusetts. At the Fall River Bus Maintenance Facility there is a wash bay, maintenance bay, and general area with offices, employee facilities, and storage rooms. Throughout the facility there are seven (7) doorsthat are within the plansto be replaced. Six (6) of the doors are exterior exit doors, referred to as, FR-1 - FR-6. The one interior door is referred to as, Door 22, that connects the wash bay to the maintenance bay. Elm St The New Bedford Bus Terminal is located at 134 Elm St, New Bedford, Massachusetts. The New Bedford Bus Terminal is an active bus terminal, with a lobby, offices, a mechanical room, pick up/drop off area, and a parking garage. Throughout the terminal there are ten (10) doors that are within the plansto be replaced. Eight (8) of those doors are labeled, NBT-1 - NBT-8. Doors NBT-7 and NBT-8 are the main entrance to the lobby of the terminal. The main entrance includesthose two (2) doors along with multiple windows to form the whole door unit. The two (2) doors not labeled are across the lobby from NBT-7 and NBT-8, that leads to the pick-up/drop off area.
