If the Bidder should be in doubt as to the meaning of any of the Bid Documents, or is of the opinion that the plans and/or specifications contain errors, contradictions or reflect omissions, the Bidder shall submit a written request directed to the Chief Procurement Officer (Town Administrator) to be forwarded to the appropriate person or department for interpretations or clarification. Interpretations or clarifications deemed necessary by the Town in response to such questions will be issued in the form of written addenda, mailed to all parties recorded by the Town as having received the Bid documents. The issuance of a written addendum by the Town shall be the only official method whereby such an interpretation or clarification will be made. Proposed work includes the resurfacing of a section of Route 117 from approximately 300 feet west of Meadow Road to the Stow Town Line (approximately 6539 LF). The work includes the placement of approximately 23,249 SY of bituminous wearing course, placement of approximately 300 tons of bituminous leveler, surface preparation including crack seal, sweeping and includes adjustment of structures as necessary.
