The work on Whitney Pond Dam Removal includes site access, downstream channel construction, phased dam demolition and removal, sediment management and mitigation, breach and channel stabilization, and other site improvements. Contract substantial completion time for the project shall be 240 calendar days commencing upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder must commence work within ten (10) calendar days after receiving a written Notice to Proceed BID INFORMATION FOR WHITNEY POND DAM REMOVAL Certified, treasurer's, or cashier's check or bid bond in the sum of five (5) percent of the Total Bid is required. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all proposals. A proposal which includes for any item a bid that is abnormally low or high may be rejected as unbalanced.
