The City of La Mirada is responsible for the maintenance of City-owned landscape areas. The City utilizes contract services to provide landscape maintenance services for the various City-owned parks and facilities located within a 7.8 square mile area. License Requirements. The successful bidder must possess a C-27 and a C-49 State of California Contractors License and otherwise be legally authorized to provide all services specified in this Request for Proposal. The term of an agreement following this bidding process shall be three (3) years effective for the calendar years commencing in 2025 and terminating in 2028 unless sooner terminated, as provided therein. The contract may be extended by the City for two (2) optional, one-year (1-year) extensions. The City shall preserve the right to reject any proposal for noncompliance with contract requirements and provisions, or to not award an agreement because of unforeseen circumstances, or if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
