As stated above, to convert Lift Station (LS) N1C to a Master Lift Station (MLS), including furnishing and installation of a new polymer concrete wet well, four (4) 92-hp pumps with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), a new building for/with electrical upgrades, odor control, and slab, new piping, valving, and appurtenances, a 400kW generator, docking station and slab, site demolition/preparation/restoration, flow meter, vaults, crane, and force main and manhole improvements (First three (3) upstream manholes will be polymer concrete). Upgrade LS N1C discharge force main to 20 inches. Disconnect the Tidevue force main from the LS N1C discharge side and connected to the N1C gravity influent manhole. Install small restroom in electrical controls room along with lighting and sewer/water connections. Install shower and eye wash station outside restroom. Conduct Arc Flash study. This project is recommended in the 2023 North Wastewater Collection System Master Plan (NC205 & NC-202) which calls for the correction of these conditions prior to FY29. This project is designed to correct the wet weather high flow hydraulic overloading on the Tidevue force main by lowering the head pressure condition in the Tidevue force main. The FM Pipe for Redirection of Flow from colony Cove 6 LS (RTU 522) project must run parallel to this project. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total offer. Bid bond shall be submitted with the sealed response and shall include project name, location, and / or address and project number. In lieu of the bond, the bidder may file an alternative form of security in the amount of 5% of the total offer. in the form of a money order, a certified check, a cashiers check, or an irrevocable letter of credit issued to Manatee County. NOTE: A construction project over $200,000 requires a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid offer. A Payment and Performance Bond shall be submitted by Successful Bidder for 100% of the award amount and shall be presented to Manatee County within ten (10) calendar days of issuance of the notice of intent to award.
