Awarded vendor shall provide citywide custodial/janitorial services in accordance with all specifications provided within this RFB for services. The work required by this contract includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary for complete custodial services. Water, electric, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, toilet seat protectors, and cleaning supplies will be furnished to the vendor by the City. It is understood that in addition to the below services listed, all tasks incidental to cleaning functions, not specifically listed but normally included in general custodial practices, will be provided for the fees agreed to and included in a subsequent contract between the Parties. Further, periodic routine cleaning activities may be added to the contract if mutually agreed upon by both Parties. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount may be required with each bid. If either of these are required, the certified check or bid bond will be returned upon the awarding of the bid. A bid deposit is not required. The City does NOT require a Performance Bond for this project. Execution of Contract through December 31, 2026 with Eligibility for three (3) one-year (1) extension period. The City shall reject any bid and shall not enter into any contract with any bidder who is in arrears to the City, upon debt or contract, or who is in default as surety or otherwise upon any obligation to the said City. The City shall reject any bid and shall not enter into any contract with any bidder whose performance of any previous contract was unsatisfactory.
