Renovation of an educational facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The State University of New York at Albany will receive sealed bids for project number P-1586 titled Podium Canopy Repairs Part 2 Work of this contract includes removals and repair of spalled/delaminated concrete of the columns, concrete ribs, and facades by use of swing scaolding supplied and installed by the contractor. All work on this Contract is to be completed no later than August 22, 2026, startingve (5) calendar days after the contract approval date of New York State Comptroller. The State University of New York at Albany anticipates that this work will require two summers to complete. However, the University is open to full completion by August 22, 2025. Any work not completed by that time will be shifted to the summer of 2026. All work shall be in accordance with construction drawings and specications. Contractor must be able to secure a performance bond for the full amount of their bid and should be prepared to anticipate a value in excess of $1,200,000 for this project. Please not that this project is exempt from Wicks Law. The State University of New York at Albany project specic goals for this project are 18.90% MBE and 11.10% WBE and 6% SDV. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than ve (5) percent of the Total Bid. Contract term: Completion by 8/22/26
