Site work for a mixed-use development in Lloydminster, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work generally comprises of: Part A: Development of 36 Street East of 40 Avenue The development of 36 Street east of 40 Avenue from 39 Avenue to 40 Avenue, intersection widening at 36 Street and 40 Avenue, walking trail construction, local storm sewer installation, and landscaping. The Work will include roadway widening at the 36 Street and 40 Avenue intersection consisting of excavation to the design subgrade elevation, roadway embankment and ditch grading, followed by the supply and installation of granular base course, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete pavement. In addition to the intersection widening will be the construction of 36 Street between 39 Avenue and 40 Avenue which will include the placement of clay import to establish the design subgrade elevation, cement stabilization of the subgrade, supply and placement of the granular base course and asphalt concrete pavement, catch basin and storm sewer connections to tie-in into existing storm infrastructure within 39 Avenue, along with the supply and construction of concrete curb and gutter and curb ramps. Upon completion of the roadway widening and development of 36 Street, a 3.0m wide asphalt concrete pavement walking trail will be constructed north of 36 Street connecting 39 Avenue to 40 Avenue, as well as the landscaping of all affected areas with topsoil, seed, and tree planting. The Work will also consist of the placement of thermoplastic pavement markings and the supply and placement of all required signage. Part B: 40 Avenue Upgrades The Work will include roadway widening along 40 Avenue north and south of the 41 Street intersection consisting of excavation to the design subgrade elevation, roadway embankment and ditch grading, followed by the supply and installation of granular base course, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete pavement. Upon completion of the roadway widening, full depth asphalt patch repair, milling and inlay (as directed by the Engineer) will be required along 40 Avenue between 41 Street and 44 Street.
