The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plan, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of: Base Bid: Obtain a no-fee encroachment permit with the City; attend to a pre-construction meeting and weekly meetings with City staff; mobilization; implementation and maintenance of stormwater pollution control Best Management Practices (BMPs); protection of existing improvements and trees; removal and proper disposal of existing tennis net posts; resurfacing of entire court within exterior fencing; painting of six pickleball courts; and installation of posts and nets for each court. The Engineer's estimate for construction is $74,000 for the Base Bid. The estimate with all alternatives is $127,000.00. Add Alt. #1: installation of internal 4' high chain link fencing (CLF) and gates between pickleball courts. Add Alt. #2: installation of fence guards on 4' CLF. Add Alt. #3: installation of 9' wind screen on two sides (north and west) only of the external fence. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a labor and materials bond and a faithful performance bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract, and a maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the final amount of the Contract.
