**As of April 24, 2025, the project was awarded to Scotty's Contracting & Stone, LLC, with an awarded amount of $919,852.71.** The project generally consists of grading and installation of a two-lane roadway widening (shoulders + lanes) along a section of Sage Road with demolition, clearing/grubbing, grading/drainage, roadway installation, signage, striping, final stabilization and associated miscellaneous work all within the City owned ROW in the City of White House, TN. Tentative mobilization date of beginning of April, 2025 o Demolition, clearing, grubbing of portions of existing infrastructure features to allow for the project installations o Installation of primary roadway widening, stormwater installations and grading tie-in requirements o Striping, signage o Significant utility coordination for concurrent utility relocations due to this project's road work (by other contractors) o All other associated miscellaneous details and ancillary items detailed in plans o Protect, repair or replace all surface material and similarly affected existing infrastructure as may be affected during the construction of the primary project and not intended to be affected by the project o Final stabilization o Receive inspections and acceptance by the City and place into operation the project facilities shown in plans in accordance with specifications Question Deadline 02/21/2025 Pre-bid questions will be received formally in writing via post or email at CSR Engineering, Inc., 2010 Hwy. 49E, Pleasant View, TN 37146 (c/o Jason Reynolds) or email at jason.reynolds@csrengineers.com. A bid bond of 5% of the bid is required on this project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance Bond shall be in full force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project by the City of White House. Each Bidder must be appropriately licensed as a Contractor in the State of Tennessee as provided in T.C.A. 62-6-101. The Bidder's name, license number, expiration date, and that part of the contracting classification applying to the Bid shall appear on the sealed envelope containing the Bid; otherwise, the Bid shall not be opened. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each Bidder shall make positive efforts and are encouraged to use small and minority owned business enterprises on this project. The City of White House reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any presented which meet or exceed these specifications, and/or which would be in the best interest of the City and will not necessarily be bound to accept the low bid.
