Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in White House, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
The City of White House, TN (City), is seeking bids to repair the scour that has developed beneath the Greenway bridge that has been caused by erosion from the creek. Use grouted riprap to stabilize the bank erosion and protect the foundation from further undermining. Section 709 of the TDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction outlines the materials, preparation and installation procedures for installing grouted riprap. Placement of rubble-stone riprap to be per Section 709.06. To access the site for inspection, you will need to park at the Greenway Trailhead at White House High school and turn right onto the Greenway and walk to the location. There is a gated Wastewater station that has an access drive that you can walk down to access the physical location. However, in order to access the area for the actual project, the Greenway access off of North Palmers Chapel will need to be used. The Parks Department will provide access to that location when the project begins.
