Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: o Traffic Control o Remove Structures and Obstructions o Construct soldier pile wall o Construct Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter o Construct Cement Concrete Sidewalk o ADA Curb Ramps o Construct Cement Concrete Driveway Approach and Asphalt Driveways o Bridge Deck Repair o Storm Drainage Improvements o Fire Hydrant Installation o Grind and Overlay of Pavement o Traffic Signal Installation o Illumination Installation o Interconnect System Installation o Channelization and Signing o Landscaping and Irrigation o Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work An Apprentice Utilization Requirement of 15% has been established for this contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue.
