Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gonzales, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes approximately 3,455 SY of pavement milling, installation of approximately 10,480 SY of 2 HMAC over entire length and width of project streets (St. Lawrence Street) and replacement of approximately 4,000 LF of curb & gutter and 350 LF of valley gutter and driveway approaches, sidewalks and curb ramps along these streets. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashiers check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid price payable without recourse to the City of Gonzales, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute required performance and payment bonds. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder; however, the right is reserved, as the interests of the OWNER may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality or minor defects in bids received. Bids may be held by the OWNER for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening for Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
