Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Gonzales, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of 4/10/2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award was not determined. Gonzales County Courthouse Annex - Selective Demolition The project scope includes all labor, material, equipment, supervision and coordination required to perform the required selective demolition services identified in the 100% Construction Document plan set and accompanying HAZMAT survey. The selective demolition scope of work generally consists of the removal of all equipment, interior walls, ceilings, flooring, roof and tilt wall panels. The selected contractor will be required to install temporary shoring and bracing per the project plans. The adjacent County Jail will remain operational throughout construction and access through the parking lot will need to remain. Project Location: 1709 East Sarah DeWitt Drive, Gonzales, Texas 78629. Project Schedule: Anticipated to start on or about April 1, 2025, with an approximate 2-month duration. Duration to be confirmed by Contractor schedule. The selected contractor must provide: 1. Performance Bond (100% of contract value) 2. Payment Bond (100% of contract value) 3. Confirmation that the respondent will provide general liability, worker's compensation, and pollution liability insurance within ten calendar days of receiving a notice of award. The Owner reserves the right to: 1. Reject any and all proposals 2. Waive informalities in proposal submissions 3. Modify or cancel the RFP at any time A. The Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Phase 1 a. Removal of the existing reinforced concrete tilt-wall panels on the existing building, with existing interior steel columns and roof to remain in place b. Provide a temporary shoring system to support the existing roof system c. Removal of the interior partitions, finishes and systems 2. Phase 2 a. New exterior walls, windows, and doors b. New steel perimeter framing c. Repair roof perimeter and tie-in to new parapet walls, with all related flashings, curbs, hatch, insulation, and drainage systems d. New exterior entrance canopies e. New mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, utilising existing RTU's on roof f. New interior partitions and finishes through-out
