Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 12,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The Town of North Wilkesboro invites qualified Design-Build firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications for the Project as described below. The Project involves the preparation, planning, design-build, and construction of a new Fire Department Facility for the Town of North Wilkesboro. The scope of work involves all necessary steps to construct a fire department facility approximately 12,000 square feet in size. The facility will be located at 100 Finley Avenue in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, with an anticipated total cost of $7,500,000. Construction is anticipated to be completed by December 2026. All Design-Build teams who submit a Statement of Qualifications meeting the stated criteria shall be evaluated by North Wilkesboro according to the scoring criteria identified in the request for qualifications. All questions should be submitted in writing to Holly Minton, Town Manager, via e-mail at townmanager@northwilkesboronc.gov by February 12, 2025. If necessary, the final addenda will be posted on the North Wilkesboro website by February 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The Town of North Wilkesboro reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received as stated in North Carolina General Statute 143-129 (b).
