The deadline to ask questions is 2/28/2025 2:00 PM CST Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request online to the www.civcastusa.com system for such information to Engineer not less than seventy-two hours (72 hours) before the Bid opening Construction of Grand Mason Detention Phase 4 for Harris County MUD No. 165, Harris County, Texas. Scope of Project: Site Preparation, Detention Pond Excavation with On-Site Spoil Disposal, Drainage Swales, Junction Boxes, Headwall with Wingwalls, Box Culverts, and Storm Sewer Pipes: 400 acres of site preparation with off-site disposal of cleared material; 1,900,000 cubic yards of excavation with on-site soil disposal; 4,400 linear feet of storm sewer pipes and box culverts; 7,500 linear feet of backslope swales with interceptor structures; and Stormwater pollution control There will be no pre-bid meeting associated with this project. A Bidder submitting Electronic Bids must submit its Bid and bid securities in compliance with Owner's Order Adopting Section 49.2731 Electronic Bidding Rules and all Bids and bid securities must be submitted through online. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor is required to submit TEC Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties) with their bid. If plans, specifications and bid documents are not initially available for download, they will be available for review at the office of the Engineer. The undersigned agrees that the prices listed includes sufficient compensation for the completion of the work bid upon including all necessary site work hauling and other items of work incidental to the completion of the project.
