The project includes construction of a 7,100-square-foot rubberized splash pad area featuring 76 spray elements. The site will also include a 40-foot-diameter fabric shade structure with five picnic tables. LICENSING DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS: Classification for this Project shall be BC, BC-b A BID BOND IS REQUIRED IF THE BID AMOUNT EXCEEDS $100,000. The project includes construction of a 7,100-square-foot rubberized splash pad area featuring 76 spray elements. The site will also include a 40-foot-diameter fabric shade structure with five picnic tables. Additional project components include installation of a 13' * 31' prefabricated equipment storage building, as well as site amenities adjacent to the splash pad such as benches, trash receptacles, bicycle racks, a drinking fountain, and two-rail wood fencing. To improve site access, 32 new parking spaces will be added along the entrance road from Park Avenue, expanding the current 80 spaces to a total of 112. All overhead electrical wires will be relocated underground and utility poles removed. MLGW lease lighting will provide additional light poles along the parking/drive. Contractor will be required to coordinate this work with MLGW. The City of Memphis will provide the following materials for contractor installation: Vortex spray equipment, USA Shade structure, Poligon building, and Dumor site fixtures. Requests for interpretation should solely be addressed to the Consultant either in writing or via telephone. No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to meaning of drawings and specifications. Requests for interpretation will be accepted up to ten (10) calendar days prior to date set for opening of bids.
