The Scope of Work of this contract consists of the supply, installation and warranting of all materials and products, including all labour, superintendence, equipment, temporary power, transportation, lighting, plant, and tools related to the successful starting and completion of the construction of the work as herein specified and shown of the drawings. The Work is to be completed between June 1, 2025 and July 14th, 2025 and the specific scope of work consists of the construction of the following: .1 The complete removal and off-site disposal at a legal dump site of approximately 1,535m² of the existing Tarkett Clutch Court Performance Anchor hardwood flooring system, including the sub-floor, fasteners, and vapour barrier. The doorway thresholds, vented base cove, and the floor socket covers are to be saved for re-installation. 2 Attend the site to review and acceptance in writing, in the presence of the Consultant, the planarity of the concrete floor over which the hardwood system is to be installed. Determine what areas need to be ground and what areas need to have polyurethane or epoxy-based floor levelling fillers (no concrete slurry type toppings are allowed) to ensure the hardwood flooring system will meet the planarity requirements as described in the tender specifications. All costs for attending this review are the responsibility of the hardwood floor Contractor. 3 The supply and installation of approximately 1,535m² of a low maintenance, bio-mechanically superior, long service life hardwood flooring system. Supply all wood components in sufficient quantity to meet the needs of the project, being properly seasoned, kiln dried and grade marked, and which shall be selected, delivered, and stored on site, and installed under proper environmental conditions to ensure a successful long-term installation. Supply and install as specified all other system components as required, including painted game lines and event markings, as per the drawings and as specified herein. All work to conform to the drawing and specification herein. 4 The provision of all Samples and Submittals as described in Section 1.6 of the project specification 09 64 66 Wood Athletic Flooring. 5 Provide a complete clean-up of the site at the conclusion of the work. 6 At the anniversary of the installation, on dates agreed to with the Owner, return to the site of the installation and complete a screening and top coating of the hardwood surface using the same finish coat product as used during the installation. General Liability insurance in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) per occurrence. Automobile Liability insurance in the minimum amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence.
