Renovation of a detention facility in Naples, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Question Submission Deadline: March 10, 2025, 5:00pm Question Submission electronically Collier County Bid No. 25-8349 for the construction of the CCSO Jail Buildings J1-J2 Egress Door Alterations Project located in Collier County, Florida The original Collier County Jail (J1) was constructed at the Main Campus Government Center in 1985. The Collier County Sheriff's Office Jail Administration building (J2,) was added to Building J1 in 2000. A separate Fire Alarm replacement project uncovered existing egress concerns with the Greater Naples Fire District. In coordination with the GNFD it was determined that the addition of fire rated doors and partitions along with additional signage would satisfy their concerns. 1. REQUIREMENTS: A. Contractor shall have permit PRCS20240728234 assigned from Victor Latavish Architect, PA and submit all required documentation for such to the Building Department within 14 days of receipt of Purchase Order from Collier County Facilities Management Division. B. Contractor shall verify existing site conditions. Any as-built information is for reference only. C. All work must comply with Collier County Vertical Standards (CCVS) and the current adopted Florida Building Code. D. Provide all necessary items, tools, hardware, resources, materials, etc. to fully and properly complete all project tasks. Install all items per manufacturer's recommendations and installation instructions. E. All materials and items replaced that Collier County does not want to store must be properly disposed of at the cost of the contractor. F. Contractor(s) shall, under no circumstances, remove any equipment containing a County asset sticker. The Contractor(s) shall request that, when replacing equipment, the asset sticker be removed by an appropriate Collier County Facilities Management staff member authorized to adjust equipment inventory records. Photos and disposition documentation will be required. G. Contractor is responsible for blocking off and maintaining any safety perimeters necessary for work. Contractor shall properly block off construction areas as appropriate until the work item is complete. Contractor shall make every effort to keep pedestrian pathways open for use. H. The contractor shall submit specifications, product data and/or shop drawings on all materials, devices, equipment, or systems being installed on the project for approval by the Architect and Collier County Project Manager. I. All work must be performed by properly qualified employees. Credentials may be requested by Collier County.
