It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded March 7th, 2025 with construction commencing on or March 24th, 2025. A Performance Bond, in the amount of fifty (50) percent of the contract, and a Labour and Material Bond, in the amount of fifty (50) percent of the contract, may be required on acceptance of the Contract and prior to commencement of any work. The Contractor may be required to post a Maintenance Bond or Surety in the amount of twenty (20) percent of the Contract price, to guarantee workmanship and materials for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance of the works, as established by the Contract Administrator. Where the Performance Surety has been chosen in the form of a letter of credit or a certified cheque, it will be held by the Owner until the twelve (12) month maintenance guarantee period expires. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders; or to accept any tender if it is deemed in the interest of the Owner to do so. If only one tender is received, the Owner reserves the right to reject that tender.
