Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sterling, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Town of Sterling will receive sealed bids from contractors for the Demolition/Removal of Shed & Pour Concrete Slab with Ramps Project at the Sterling Town Hall, 1183 Plainfield Pike, Oneco, CT 06373. The scope includes the demolition/removal of existing shed & installation of a concrete slab with ramps. To provide labor, materials, equipment & all else necessary for Demolition/Removal of Shed & Pour Concrete Slab with Ramps 2025 as detailed in the attached specifications. NOTES: 1. Bidders are to complete all requested data on the last page of the Invitation to Bid & must return this page & the Proposal page with their bid. 2. Bid proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope & clearly marked Demolition/Removal of Shed & Pour Concrete Slab with Ramps 2025 on the outside of the envelope. 3. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to see that the bid is received by the Sterling Administrative Office prior to the time & date noted. Bid proposals are not to be submitted via email or fax. The town of Sterling is accepting bids from qualified, licensed, & insured contractors for the following projects: o Project #1: Disconnect electric power & demolish a 12' x 16' wooden shed, removing all debris from site. o Project #2: Excavate, pour, & finish a reinforced concrete pad (5" thick x 8' x 20") & 2 ramps (8' in width). REQUIREMENTS a. Any size or estimate of quantities are approximate & are not guaranteed in any respect. The Town reserves the right at all times to increase or decrease the amount of work if deemed in its best interest. b. Price is to include all labor, material, tools, equipment, plans, mobilization, permits, insurances, etc. required to properly complete these services. c. The successful bidders MUST secure all required licenses and permits (local, state, federal) prior to commencing work on the site. d. Upon Award, all bidding documents shall constitute a legal contract including but not limited to the following: Bid Invitation. SPECIFICATIONS All pertinent details of the project will be provided at the walk through. CANCELLATION The Town reserves the right to cancel the contract due to failure to keep to a schedule or for unsatisfactory job performance. The Town will provide ten (10) day's advance notification of such cancellation. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
