The Town of Sterling, Connecticut, is looking for qualified engineering, construction, and construction oversight firms to provide services for a Drinking Water infrastructure project. This project will be funded through the Connecticut Drinking Water Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities (EC SDC) and/or the State of Connecticut Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DW SRF). The objective is to identify qualified firms for design and construction for a new oxidation and filtration treatment system to remove iron and manganese from groundwater sources at the existing well site (304 Sterling Road). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
