The performance period for this Contract shall be 425 Days and shall begin on the date designated in the Notice to Proceed. All Work shall be completed within the number of Days designated in the Notice to Proceed, unless otherwise modified by written agreement of the contracting parties. The Contractor shall begin mobilization within 30 days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed, and work shall commence within 45 days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. If the Contractor fails to complete the Work within the time specified in the Contract, or any extension, the Contractor shall pay to the TDCJ as liquidated damages, the sum of $470.00 for each available Day of delay. The TDCJ is seeking proposals to install a new fire alarm system complete with fire alarm control panels, annunciators, smoke detectors, duct detectors, relays, horns/strobes, conduit boxes, wire and other electrical components required to comply with the NFPA Life Safety Codes in multiple buildings.
