AS of 6/25/2025, no bids were received. Project will be rebid. Baseball Dugout and Backstop o Demo existing dugout and slab to include a portion of the sidewalk. o The new dugouts will be positioned to align with the existing r-panel fence. o The new dugouts are to be 14' x 46' on the new home side which is the south east side. o The visitor's side is to be 14' by 40' on the north west side. o The heights of the dugouts should be 7' at the rear, and 8' at the front. o There are two entry points on the home side dugout. o There is to be a guard rail with a net in front of each dugout to protect players. It should be about 48" tall with black netting stretched inside, and padding around the pipe top and side posts. o The dugouts are to be constructed of cinder block with a sloped R-panel galvalume roof. o There is to be a 128' long, 36" tall, and 18" thick backstop wall along the front edge of the concrete sidewalk behind home plate. The wall can be constructed out of cinder block with cap stones along the top of the wall. See included pictures for basic examples. o Submitted proposal will include all necessary material, hardware, equipment, and labor to complete the project. Gatesville ISD is interested in receiving proposals from responsible parties, for the materials and installation of fencing, at the lowest cost possible. The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the proposal process, and to be the sole judge of the merit and qualifications of products or services offered. No vendor shall withdraw or cancel his proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the specified closing time. Once the school district accepts a proposal and notifies the successful vendor, that proposal may be withdrawn, canceled, or modified only at the request of the school district.
