The contract is for one (1) year with five (5) optional one (1) year renewal contracts. The contract will be awarded to up to five (5) of the lowest responsive and responsible bidders. Bidders with technical questions concerning the Bidding Documents or forms to be completed and submitted with the bid should contact the Engineer in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders by email to Curtis.Robinson@holtzconsulting.com. The Successful Bidder(s), who are awarded the contract, will be required to furnish a Public Construction Bond with each Specific Authorization for the full construction amount agreed upon in the Specific Authorization in accordance with Florida Statute Section 255.05, and to submit a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating conformance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall be prepared, addressed and submitted in compliance with detailed instructions as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. All forms and questionnaires must be filled out completely as instructed. Failure to complete the bid forms as instructed and provide the requested information, or to fully execute the bid, shall be grounds for rejection of the bid. Seacoast Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive irregularities, variances, deviations, technical errors and informalities to the extent permitted by law, or to accept the Bid which in its judgment best serves the public interest.
