Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Canfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center (MCCTC) is requesting bids for the construction of a new Medical Wellness Center on N. Palmyra Road in Canfield, Ohio, adjacent to its existing facility. MCCTC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid. Note well that the contractor shall be liable for liquidated damages for failure to meet the substantial completion date of this project. Construction of the new Medical Wellness Center is funded by a Grant Agreement that obligates the MCCTC to have the facility operational by a date certain, and, if the MCCTC defaults on that obligation, the MCCTC is liable to return all Grant funds. Consequently, if the contractor fails to meet the substantial completion date designated in the construction contract for this project, then the contractor shall be liable to pay the MCCTC for all Grant funds that the MCCTC is liable to return.
