The "Owner" reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable. It is agreed that the bid guaranty shall be for the benefit of the "Owner" pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code if the undersigned fails to execute the Contract in conformity with the Form of Contract incorporated in the contract documents and furnish Bond and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the Contract to the undersigned. The Scope of Work for the Ardenall Avenue Watermain Replacement Project consists of the following: o Replace existing 6" water main with new 8" ductile iron pipe o Bore and jack 16" steel encasement o Install new hydrants, valves, tees, crosses, and fittings o Frost-proof protection o Temporary bypass water main and services o Restore concrete curb, walk, and trench cap o Lead service line replacement on customer side to inside of buildings o Site Restoration o Follow the OMUTCD for maintenance of traffic, signage, safety, etc.
