The City of East Cleveland (City) is seeking a qualified firm to rehabilitate and operate a solid waste transfer station. The selected firm will be responsible for rehabilitating and operating a solid waste transfer station owned by the City of East Cleveland. 1. Rehabilitation of existing solid waste transfer station a. The site must be rehabilitated to meet local, state, and federal requirements for a solid waste transfer station, b. Specify plan of approach for meeting the requirements to open a licensed solid waste transfer station. The City will hold the license for the transfer station, c. The cost to rehabilitate the transfer station will be carried by the selected firm. 2. Operation of solid waste transfer station a. Specify the plan of approach for operating the transfer station, b. Specify the types of waste that would be handled at the transfer station and how they would be handled per local, state, and federal requirements, c. The license fee will be paid by the operator. The license fee will be paid by the operator. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or Statements of Qualifications or part or all of any information submitted. The City also has the right to waive formalities and technicalities in any and all Proposals and Statements of Qualifications.
