A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Rehabilitation of Various Roads in the Hardy/Aldine Area for the BetterStreets2Neighborhoods Community Program (2024) for Harris County Precinct 2 - UPIN 24102MF3B401 Questions Due Date: Feb 14th 2025, 12:00 PM CST The project consists of rehabilitation of approximately 8.5 miles of asphalt pavement and 2.5 miles of concrete pavement in the Hardy/Aldine area of Harris County Precinct 2. The specific scope consists of, but not limited to the following tasks: Asphalt pavements: • Perform milling of existing asphalt pavement, generally two (2) inches in depth unless otherwise specified, over the entire roadway width and at transitions. • Perform base repair of existing asphalt pavement, generally eight (8) inches in depth, as specified in the construction drawings or as directed by the Engineer. • Place prime coat and tack coat as specified. • Place two (2) inches thick, unless otherwise specified, Dense-Graded Surface Overlay over the entire roadway width. • Provide adequate traffic control measures during all phases of construction as shown in the construction drawings or as directed by the Engineer. • Cleanup and restore site to original condition. Concrete pavements: • Perform full-depth repair of concrete pavement, generally six (6) inches in depth, as specified in the construction drawings or as directed by the Engineer. • Prepare, clean and seal all longitudinal, transverse and edge cracks following specified standards and specifications. • Provide adequate traffic control measures during all phases of construction as shown in the construction drawings or as directed by the Engineer. • Cleanup and restore site to original condition. Note: All equipment or trucks in excess of 14 tons (28,000 lbs.) must be submitted to the Engineer for review and approval prior to use
