The Scott County Virginia Public Schools Maintenance Department is seeking bids for service work and repairs of gym bleachers, stationary basketball goals, goal safety straps, mechanical and electrically operated retractable goals and all related structural parts of all goals & backboards for Scott County's three High School gyms as listed below. Gate City High School- 178 Harry Fry Drive Gate City, VA. 24251. - Scott County Public Schools (SCPS) is seeking a contractor that will provide an inspection, recommendations, and services to complete alterations if needed to meet code for all gym bleachers and other gym equipment inside the gym as described above. SCPS would like all general preventative maintenance work to be completed at this time along with an additional plan and fee for preventative maintenance service for three additional one-year periods. - SCPS will provide one 32' scissor lift with wheel covers to the contractor during the service/repair work Rye Cove High School- 164 Eagles Nest Lane Duffield, VA, 24244 - Scott County Public Schools (SCPS) is seeking a contractor that will provide an inspection, recommendations, and services to complete alterations if needed to meet code for all gym bleachers and other gym equipment inside the gym as described above. SCPS would like all general preventative maintenance work to be completed at this time along with an additional plan and fee for preventative maintenance service for three additional one-year periods. - SCPS will provide one 32' scissor lift with wheel covers to the contractor during the service/repair work Twin Springs High School- 273 Titan Lane Nickelsville, VA. 24271 - Scott County Public Schools (SCPS) is seeking a contractor that will provide an inspection, recommendations, and services to complete alterations if needed to meet code for all gym bleachers and other gym equipment inside the gym as described above. SCPS would like all general preventative maintenance work to be completed at this time along with an additional plan and fee for preventative maintenance service for three additional one-year periods. - SCPS will provide one 32' scissor lift with wheel covers to the contractor during the service/repair work. Each Bidder must be a licensed contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. During the performance of this contract, the contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, or other basis Pursuant to Section 2.2-4343.1 of the Code of Virginia. During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees to provide a drug-free workforce Pursuant to Section 2.2-4312 of the Code of Virginia. During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees to follow the Code of Virginia on sex offender's entry onto school property Pursuant to Section 22.1-296.1(E) of the Code of Virginia.
